LOOK  FOR THE BEST TRAVEL OPTION TO REACH PAXOS ISLAND 

FROM THE MAIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS 

To keep the island as private and wild as possible, there here is no airport in Paxos.

However, many international flights land directly to KERKYRA AIRPORT (KYR), the close Corfu Island, or with a previous stop in  ATHENS (ATH), just 1 hour flight from Corfu.  From Corfu, travellers can then take a ferry to Paxos.

FROM ITALY BY FERRY

If you are travelling with your own car from North Europe or Italy, a good option is to take a ferry to Igoumenitsa from one of the italian main ports such as Venice, Bari or Brindisi.

Some ferries stop also in Corfu (Kerkyra). This could be a good option if you are passengers only; otherwise, if you are travelling with your own car, the only option is to arrive in Igoumenitsa since from Corfu there are just passenger only ferries to Paxos

FROM CORFU (KERKYRA)

If your flight landed in Kerkyra Airport, you can easily reach the Kerkyra New Port by bus or by taxi with a short drive of 10 minutes that will cost you around 10-15€.

From the port, travellers will have different options to reach Paxos Island:

-PRIVATE SEA TAXI could be another option if you need to be more flexible with timetables or you wish to leave from a different Port. They usually leave from the Old Port of Corfu and take about an hour but they can also leave from Lefkimi (40 min) or Kavos (30 min.) and are able to arrive at any port. There are 3 sea taxi's on the Island, that need to be booked in advance.

*We strongly   recommend TO BOOK IN ADVANCE each of these options due to the low number of passengers they can carry.

**Please note that there are NO DIRECT OPTIONS TO BRING A CAR FROM KERKYRA. In case of need you have to travel to Igoumenitsa and then to Paxos. 

FROM IGOUMENITSA:

If you are travelling by car from East Europe or by ferry from Italy, you have to reach the Igoumenitsa Port.

From here, CAR and PASSENGERS ferries will bring you in Paxos in almost 1'30.

*Please note that is high season (JULY-AUGUST) there are usually 2 daily boats; however, in low season daily boats are not guaranteed thus look for the ferry availability before to plan your trip.

FROM OTHER IONAN ISLANDS:
