Nereidi is a complex of Villas that are located in the east southern cost of the island, in front of the Mongonissi Bay, just 3 km far from the Capital Gaios, where all the shopping and nightlife options are.
Mongonissi Island, at 600mt from the complex, is connected to the island of Paxos by a small causeway and provides a naturally beautiful and very sheltered inlet for visiting yachts on Ionian island sailing holidays. Water sports and kayaks can be hired in the Bay, and the excellent tavernas have a wonderfully laid-back, friendly atmosphere and frequently have entertainment in the form of music and Greek dancing.
Apart from the sandy beach in the Mongonissi Bay – one of only two sandy beaches on Paxos, there are also two pebble beaches at few steps from the complex (Kamini Gouva Beach and Stafuchia Beach) with 2 more within 10 minutes of walking, as well as several small rocky coves, perfect for snorkeling. The swimming is superb – clean clear water shelves gently making it ideal for children and inexperienced swimmers.
